About Us

Hello and welcome to Back Porch Brewing website. We named our brewery after how we began.  On the back porch! Yes, we started on our back porch.

Like most breweries, we got our start as home brewers cooking beer on our kitchen stoves. The passion quickly grew into a small 15-gallon brew system and a move to the back porch for more room.

After creating several recipes we started share our beer with friends and family and received great reviews. After deep consideration, we decided to apply for a brewery license.

We became officially licensed in the fall of 2019. We sold our beer to a couple restaurants and quickly realize we needed a bigger brew system, so we upgraded to a one-barrel brew system. Since our beers were so well received we decided to search for a place to open a full-scale restaurant / brewery.

After securing financing and finding a place downtown, COVID hit and put everything on hold. We then spent the two and a half years of covid renovating our new space and opened February 3rd, 2023.

Today Back Porch Brewing has become a very popular place.  We host many different events like open mic nights, trivia nights, live music and or Dj's every Friday and Saturday night and some special event on Sundays.  Check our Events page for all listing.

     We have a very large space and can accommodate large gatherings.  You can reserve our space for a special event you have planned such as wedding receptions, reunion etc.  Just contact us though our Contact page.
