Home Brew Contest

Do you think you have a great home brew? Want to have a shot to put it on tap at a local brewery? We have you covered. Sign up for Back Porch Brewing Home Brew Competition. Competition will be held Saturday September 13th, 2025, starting at 1 pm. Doors open at noon. Only 20 spots available. One beer per person, so bring your best.

We will have several judges sampling and will determine a winner. Winner will get to brew their beer on Back Porch Brewing 1 barrel brew system.

Do to legal requirements for making and selling beer in PA, you will need to agree to the terms and conditions. They are as follows...

Need minimum of four (4) 16 oz bottles, cans or equivalent.

Must register by August 15th.

Beers will be judged by judges selected by Back Porch Brewing.

If selected; your beer must be brewed at Back Porch Brewing and will be labeled "Brewed By: Back Porch Brewing" a Collaboration with______, to be able to legally sell it.

If selected; you agree to accept the $100 prize money and one sixtel (provided by you) or two cases of cans as compensation. Back Porch keeps proceeds from sales of the beer.

You can name the beer but must meet TTB and LCB legal requirements on labeling.
